Jurassic Ranch Handmade Boots are handcrafted using skins from one of the world’s closest surviving dinosaur descendant: the ostrich.

The ostrich’s direct ancestors roamed the earth during the Jurassic Period, some 200 million years ago. Today they are being raised in the heart of Texas on the Jurassic Ranch.

Because we breed our own ostriches, Jurassic Ranch is America’s only truly vertical ostrich boot maker. We raise the animals and tan our leather into over 50 different color choices. This enables us to control the production of our boots every step of the way, from the shell to the shelf.

Unlike other western boot makers, we use rich, durable and supple ostrich hides on both the upper/shaft and the foot/vamp. This allows us to create comfortable boots with the fit and style that cannot be matched.

Our vertical capability also allows us unprecedented control over production of our other fine and exotic leather boots as well.
