Most boot makers take shortcuts you may not see. For example, some make their stacked heels out of recycled leather chips, some use cardboard or plastic insoles attached to a cloth rip, and still others use cork filler in the cavity of the insole that will later break apart.

At Jurassic Ranch, we believe that old-time, handmade classic boot crafting is still the best way to construct quality boots. We do not build “throw away” boots that need to be replaced every year.
